This is a critical stage in which our team readies the
livestock for delivery to their overseas destination. We
coordinate with producers, veterinarians, state health
officials, and quarantine facility managers to insure the
safe movement of animals to the quarantine/assembly point.
Experience has shown that good planning and coordination
is essential in the success of this portion of the export
process. In many cases this can involve more than 100 farms
that have 100 different veterinarians in some 15 states
that are supervised by 15 state or federal veterinarians.
At
this point in the exportation process, the documentation
becomes an important part of the export. T.K.âs has more
than 20 years of experience in making sure this paperwork
is done correctly and on time. Finally the trucking companies
we use have many years of experience in handling our animals.
We believe we have more experience than anyone in preparing
shipments allowing our clients to receive healthy animals
in a cost-effective manner.

We are experienced in transporting the animals by air and
by boat, and the unique documentation and shipping
requirements associated with each method. We do all
the purchasing of feed, medicine, and loading of the
ship. We know that nutrition is important to every
animal however, it is extremely important when they
are in transit for 3 weeks. We work with feed manufacturers
and hay suppliers to have the correct mix for each
class of animal we ship.
We enjoy longstanding relationships with major airfreight
carriers such as FEDEX, Air France, Lufthansa that utilize
cargo planes that have been specially outfitted for livestock
transport.
Our veterinary staff cares for the animals during transit.
Since our ocean vessels take up to 25 days in some cases
for the transit, the health care of the animals are paramount.
Our personnel have more than 15 years experience in doing
this. We can even do some vaccinations during transit that
maybe helpful to our clients which cannot be performed
in the USA. We have our personnel on every ship we
send.
Destination
Care
Some of our clients have asked us to manage their purchase
once it arrives in their country. We can provide the veterinary
and management services to help manage the quarantine in
the destination country.
